Omega Psi Phi, Fraternity, Inc. ΩΨΦ

Omega Psi Phi was founded on November 17, 1911 at Howard University. The fraternity is committed to encouraging its members' leadership development, community involvement, and academic performance. They are renowned as well for their "Omega Man" emblem. Members of Omega Psi Phi are referred to as "Ques" by their peers. Their colors are Royal Purple and Old Gold.

1982 Pacifican Article
In this 1982 Pacifican article, both Alpha Phi Alpha and Omega Psi Phi are mentioned. Keypoints of this article involving ΩΨΦ involve them being off-campus and not being chartered by the University of the Pacific at the time. It is unknown whether they were eventually chartered by the university. The fraternity did get involved with Pacific on March 28, 1981. The president at the time, Rodney Currington compares ΩΨΦ to other fraternities as not too socially-oriented and "not concerned enough with improving mankind".
In regards of having a house, it was deemed not "necessary" for their purpose, according to Currington.
